The book of Love & Gratitude- Prima's Forever Green Collection

This is another project I created with the new collection from Prima: Forever green. 

With the way the world is right now, surrounded by so much hatred, all we need is lots of love and gratitude to send some positive energy to those in need. That is why I created the book below as I'm grateful each and every day for everything that I have.

I've altered a simple notebook cover to create a book of gratitude as a gift for someone special. I've tied it up with ribbon to have it ready for giving. It is blank inside so people can write their grateful thoughts of life.

I've used the new Forever Green Collection with papers, 3D Stickers, ephemera and flowers to create a natural looking theme to the book.

For the background, I used some Finnabair Light  paste to create a stone pattern using one of the new Prima Stone stencils. Then I sprayed the stencilled area with two bright Color Bloom Sprays.

I've captured different angles of the book so you can see the 3D effects and be able to see the work it took to create it

This collection is full of natural elements like birds and butterflies and I fussy cut them to include in the cover of this book.

the script Providence vines were the perfect natural accent for the book.

This is the back of the book and it has no embellishments. It only has the texture matching the front.

Small Indulgence- Prima Coffee Time Collection LO and Video

This is another new layout for the Prima blog using the Coffee Time Collection and some of the new Finnabair Art Basics Mediums.

I'm also showing a step by step video below on how I created this layout.

I jus love my cup of coffee in the morning, especially if its milky and frothy like the cappuccino in this picture. So I thought it fitting to use the Coffee Time Collection to scrapbook this yummy treat.

Joy- Blue Fern Studios Part #2

This is my second layout for the Blue Fern Studios Blog this month and I'm continuing with my all around theme this month which is "Circles". I have used different circular designs this month to create each of my layouts. I hope they inspire you to create with circles and love them just as much as I do!!!

For this layout I used the Techno rings to frame the photo of my daughter painting and one of the words from the Ombré Dreams- Dream Cards paper.  First I primed the chipboard with gesso, Then I painted them with gelatos and added some stickles glitter. I also stamped them with Prima's circular stitched stamp (which is the same stamp used on the background). Finally I created white lines on them with a white acrylic marker.

I used the Ombré Dreams- Joyce's dream and matched all the embellishments and inks to it. I created a border using Prima Stitches lines stamp. I also sprayed and splattered the page using some Color Bloom sprays from Prima.

My daughter had so much fun using the dropper to create splatters on the page. It gave me so much joy watching her and so I used the Joy title from the Good Vibes chipboard word set.

This month's theme is very befitting as its 

"Sizziling Hot Summer Fun"

Here is the inspirational circle:

There's nothing more fun that to be near a lake or a beach in the summer. There's just so many things to do and here is a perfect picture to showcase just that. My son and husband kayaking in the lake is the perfect summer fun activity.

 I used lots of different 7 Dots Studio stickers to layer the background and for the first time ever I used no flowers, which is very rare for me.

I also used a couple of Blue Fern Studio chipboard pieces which I painted with Shimmerz Inklingz. I used some Prima stamps: stitched lines and shells from the Seashore collection, and of course colour bloom sprays: glistening waves and gold foil.

Peace- Wooden OTP bird- Epiphany Collection

Thank you for visiting my blog today to see my new creation for Prima. I created a peace bird with lots of soft teals and whites.

The World really needs peace right now so I though this is the perfect project to send some loving and peaceful energy to the world. I hope it brings people some comfort!!

I loved creating this wooden bird with some of the new Prima flowers. The vellum Sunset flowers combined with the Manhattan Broadway flowers and the London Noble flowers were perfect to create this Peace bird.

I think the Epiphany collection was the perfect collection for this bird OTP as its full of bird cages and bird images. I loved covering the background with the "Manifestation of Love" paper as it has some script writing on it.

 I used some resin feathers as a perfect accent for the bird's tail and wing.

I also used one of the new Stone Stencils and one of the new Prima Die-cuts to create some white texture in the background to match with the other embellishments.
