Ocean Blue- 7 Dots Studio "Destination Unknown"

Its my turn on the 7 Dots Studio Blog today and I've created a beach layout using the Destination Unknown Collection as well as a step by step video on how I created it.

Here is the step by step video:

We recently came back from a family holiday. We spent some lovely days at the beach and I took some fabulous photos by the sea. I couldn't think of a better collection than Destination Unknown for me to scrap one of these photos.

Sparkling, luminous glitter! What could be more perfect for our featured product to kick this off? Choose any of Finnabair's new gorgeous Glass Glitters, color-filled Glitter Sets, or finely granulated Art Sugars, to show off on your card or tag. Need some dazzling inspiration.

I created a Chanukah card. I know its not very christmasy but it shows my heritage and traditions for the holidays.

Glitter sets are so fun to use. I used them to create a glittery background with a Prima stencil. I also used them to add some accents to the Chanukah image I printed off the internet. It gave the candles a sparkly touch

Enjoy Life- Prima's Thankful Feature

Today we are featuring Thankful projects on the Prima Blog and what better way to show how thankful I am is to create a layout about two of my favourite people in my life!!

One of the things I'm most thankful for is my kids. I was blessed with two amazing kids who fullfill my life with happiness. I want to wish them all the best in the world and to enjoy life each and every day and may they be blessed with health for the rest of their long lives!!

I created a bamboo stencil pattern using the Finnabair Art Extravaganza Copper crackle paste. While it was still wet, I sprinkled it with one of the glitters from the Art Ingredients -Ebony and Ivory glitter set.

The Ingvild Bolme Metal victorian lamp was accented with copper alcohol ink. The flowers and leaves were sprayed with Color Bloom Sprays.

A Joyful Heart- Blue Fern Studios November Sketch

Another month and here we are in November.
I'm excited to share the new sketch for Blue Fern Studios for you to play with.

I created a beach layout using a picture I took on my recent trip. I used one of the papers from the Montage collection from Blue Fern Studios.

I framed the photo with the chipboard Collage Frame which I covered with embossing powder. I also used the wave shaped chipboard from the "By the sea" set.

I created a stencilled palm pattern in the background using a Scrap Fx stencil and some Light Molding paste. Then I edged them with Dry Sand chalk edger from Prima.
