Hello Paradise- Flying Unicorn December KOTM

Here is my second layout for the December Flying Unicorn Kit.

I used many of the pastel colours in the kit to create a beach themed layout.

I really love the Scrap Fx palm stencil I bought recently. I just love using it for beach layouts. I used matching Prima flowers from the Epiphany collection found in the kit.

Special Girl- Flying Unicorn December KOTM

Here is my first layout this month for the Flying Unicorn December Kit of the Month using 13 Arts Cozy Evening.

I used this really cool black and white picture of my daughter in a fort we visited recently and used some stone effect paste to mimic the bricks on the wall behind her.

I used flowers from Prima's Epiphany and Stationer's collections as they matched the 13 Arts papers perfectly. I then added lots of different embellishments such as wood icons, cork stickers and metal ones too.

Here is a door hanger I made for a boy's room using the pencils and the new Julie Nutting Boy stamps.

Aren't they fun?

I thought it would be cute to make a door hanger for a boy's room using one of Julie Nutting's new boy stamps. This little cute guy, named Toby, was the perfect size for my door hanger.

Here is a step by step on how I created this hanger:

Step 1:

Cover the wooden door hanger with paper. Ink the edges in black.

 

Step 2:

Stamp image onto water-colour tag and colour it in with new Prima pencils.

Step 3:

Adhere boy and kite to the door handle using foam tape.

Step 4:

Add title.

Happy Friends- Blue Fern Studios December Sketch

It's another month and I can't believe its the last one for this year. How has the year passed right before my eyes.

It was a wonderful year with ups and downs and beautiful memories.

Soon the new year will be upon us and I can't wait for the wonderful adventures awaiting me!!

We also have the last sketch for the year at Blue Fern Studios and we would love for you to play with us this month.

This is a photo of my daughter with one of her really good friends. They look so peaceful and gives me the feeling of childhood innocence. This type of innocence I would  love to preserve in my memory forever.

I used the "Ombre Dreams" collection for the background and layering, then I used the "wild flourish frame" around the photo and the Friends title from the "Arrow words" set.
