This is my third layout with the July Kit from Flying Unicorn which is available every month at the Flying Unicorn store

I used the 13 Arts Fly away papers again but this time the colour arrangement was slightly different as I used more earthy red and coppery tones.

I embossed some lines in the background using some Stampendous embossing that you can find at the Flying Unicorn store here. I tried to mimic the trunk of the tree in the photo.

I framed the photo in one of the new Prima resin frames. I also embossed the corners of the frame with the same coppery/gold embossing powder.  I also used some Prima flowers, resins and a metal frame.

To give it a natural rustic look I used twine and some stamping using the Stampendous burlap stamp designed by the talented Nat Kalbach.

Fly High- Flying Unicorn July's Your Passion Your Art Kit

This is another layout I created for July's Flying Unicorn Your Passion Your Art Kit, which you can purchase at the Flying Unicorn store

This time I used the beautiful 13 Arts Collection Fly Away because it fit perfectly with my theme.

I took this picture of my daughter inside the Aviary in Niagara Falls. The place is filled with tropical trees and plants and many different types of birds are flying around freely above you. I wanted to transport you into this magical place by using rustic elements on my page.

I started with the wooden patterned paper for my background and then added flowers, feathers and twine to create the rustic feel.

I chose colours that matched the leafy background using Prima flowers from the Time Traveler collection and a black Prima Vine. Finally I added some resin dragonflies from the new Prima collection.

This month with no exception we have a beautiful kid at Flying Unicorn featuring papers from Authentique and 13 Arts.

For this layout, I used the Authentique collection which has a few pink and aqua tones and it combined beautifully with the black.

I scrapped this picture of my mom and I taken on mother's day this year. I love hanging out with my mom, she's my mom but she's also my best friend and I love her so much. She's a very special soul and brings light to all around them. 

I used beautiful Prima flowers and resins to embellish the page and framed the photo in an Instascrap frame.

Natural- Blue Fern Studios July Sketch

This is my layout for this month's sketch at Blue Fern Studios.

This picture of my daughter was taken in front of a nearby lake and I used the Ombré Dreams collection to make it feel as if you are part of the scenery.

After creating the textured background using  a Tim Holtz stencil and stamp, I framed my photo in the new small Circle Flourish which was primed with Gesso and then dabbed it with Ranger Distress ink.

I embellished the layout with beautiful Prima flowers from the Free Spirit collection. I also used some of the Bohemian flowers to use as fillers.

I used one of the chipboard Framed Trinkets for the top of the layout and layered some more of the Bohemian flowers and a Little Hummingbird.

I added the other little bird on the other side of the frame.
