Curious- Prima Feature; Color Blooms and Finnabair

Hi Everyone,

 I'm up again on the Prima blog featuring March Color Bloom Madness. 

These sprays come in a variety of colors and they are so versatile.

Today, I've created a magical garden to surround this beautiful picture of my daughter hunting for minnows in the pond.

I used the Color Bloom sprays to mimic the nature in the photo and complimented it with Prima flowers and Finnabair's Metal embellishments.

CURIOUS

The layout was created on one of Finnabair's resist canvases. I sprayed the background with both Lime Wedge and Summer Sky Color Blooms to create the bottom of the layout. I let it drip down the page and then wiped it in a downwards motion.

The grass was created using some Light Molding paste and then painted with Lime Wedge Color Bloom spray as well.

I also used some Finnabair resist canvas borders. These were also sprayed with the green and blue Color Bloom sprays. 

Finally I added some shade accents using two darker Color Bloom sprays: Worn Leather and Gold foil.

Green  Concepts Tip:

Don't Waste the packaging. As you can see, I cut a few of the Finnabair Logo Moths to add to my layout. These were the perfect accent pieces to this natural looking layout.

Inspirational Altered Canvas- Flying Unicorn Kit of The Month

Hi Everyone,

This a very special canvas I created for someone that I love very much.

When I created it I channelled to them all the healing powers and love from the universe.

All I ask from you please, that when you look at this project you help me bless it with health, love, happiness, strength, courage, prayers and positive thoughts for this person. I know that the universe then will send them directly to this them.

If you would do this for me I would be so grateful. I'm already grateful to all of you and now

I used a lot of Mixed media techniques for this canvas and it created a lot of texture.

Beautiful Simplicity- Flying Unicorn Reveal

Hi Everyone

I'm here to reveal the Flying Unicorn March Kit of the Month

I used the blueish papers to create another frozen wonderland layout. I took this picture out of the window of my car. The window was all frozen and I really wanted to take a picture of the frozen snow flakes. The effect was fabulous!!!

I used a lot of stamping and masking to create texture. Then I built lots of layers with papers. Finally I embellished with flowers from the kit.

The Last Goodbye- Scrap Around The World March Challenge

HERE IS MY INTERPRETATION OF THE MOOD BOARD:

This is photo of my mom's hand holding my grandmother's hand on her last moments. Its a very special picture for my mom and she asked me if I could scrap it and frame it for her and so here it is.

I've used of course all my favourite products: Prima flowers and embellishments, Shimmerz paints and sprays and Blue Fern Studios chipboard

For Shimmerz I used: Sunny, Pink and Art Pop Pink. You can find all these colours in the Shimmerz Store and if you mention my name during checkout you will receive a free product.
