Friends Forever- Shimmerz GD and Textured Tutorial

I'm really excited to announce that I'm a GD for Shimmerz this month.

Here is a tutorial on how I created the textured background which is the challenge for August at the Shimmerz blog.

My Boys- Scrap for Help DT layout

So here is the Challenge for Scrap for Help.

I've been away on holidays for the later part of July so when I came back I quickly created this page. As you can see, there's a lot of white space which is different than my usual. However I really liked how it turned out so I left it be. This is a pic of the two main boys in my life. I journaled around the page.

As you can see, I splattered tea bags all over the page and created a random pattern. Then I used a cup to create circular tea stains around the page.

Moments Together- GD for Scrap Africa

I'm a guest designer this month at Scrap Africa and this is the layout I made with the sketch challenge below.

to get you inspired, here is the sketch for you to play with this month!!! its easy with lots of possibilities.

I used beautiful Pink Paislee papers, combined perfectly with lots of Prima flowers and embellies.

The title is also from Pink Paislee and its part of a set of title words that is actually a favorite of mine. I keep on buying these sets because they are perfect for every layout. I'm sure you've noticed me using them a lot.

Truly You- Scrap Around the World- August Challenge

Hello again everyone!

Thanks so much for your continued support & for all the outstanding submissions we had last month!  We had fewer entries but the quality of the work was gobsmacking! Thank you too for all your lovely comments & support of each other's work!  Acknowledgement is awesome & often sadly lacking in this world, so taking the time out to let others know their efforts are appreciated is a really important goal here!!

Here is my layout for this challenge

I was inspired by the peach & cream colours of this mood board & of course the flowers! 

 The combination made for a very feminine page of my daughter.

Here are some close-ups. I used this old Basic Grey I found in my stash and combined it with beautiful prima flowers and leaves.

Now onto the prizes you can win!!
