Soar- 7 Dots Studio Challenge

Its time for this month's 7 Dots March Challenge and the theme this month is:

"Fly Away"

You can interpret this theme in any way. Birds, Butterflies, Hot air balloons, airplanes, etc are perfect examples that fit this theme. You can be creative and original, its your choice how you interpret the topic.

I thought this picture of my kids flying a kite up high in the air was the perfect picture for this month's challenge. 

I used the new Illumination collection to create this layout. I stamped the checkered pattern from the collection's clear stamp set. I also masked the background with the Illumination stencil. I used the Patina Texturez from Shimmerz for the masking because it fit the colours perfectly and it also created texture.
