Captured Moment- 7 Dots Studio GD with Scrap Africa

For my giveaway press HERE

Here is a layout I made for 7 Dots Studio as a GD for Scrap Africa
The challenge for this month is to alter chipboard and use it on a single photo layout.

Here is my layout:

This picture depicts another wonderful day. The kids got to fly their kites at the beach downtown. I love capturing these moments in time. These beautiful snapshots of life will help me remember how my kids were then"

I used some Blue Fern Studio chipboard pieces: Picture perfect and Bits of Honey. The chipboard words were simply inked in black coal chalk edger. The bits of honey were painted in black acrylic paint and while the paint was still wet, I sprinkled some fine glass micro-beads to give it texture.

The background is from the beautiful 9th Wave Collection.
I used lots of stamping again behind the photo to create texture and movement. I used some Tim Holtz stamps and some Glitz designs stamps.

and of course a layout can't be without beautiful Prima flowers.

Brilliant, Keren - the sky is amazing in the photo, and I love how you have drawn those colours out into the background and flowers.
