Treasured- C'est Magnifique May Sketch Challenge


Its that time again for the C'est Magnifique Sketch Challenge
Here is my layout using the May Kit.
I made a masculine layout with this Kit and used one of my favorite color combinations. I really wanted to combine the turquoise tones in the kit with some brown, so I used a neutral background for the layout.


I inverted the sketch 90 degrees because I liked the way it looked that way.


This picture of my son is a couple of years old but I love his smiley face here.
I framed my son's photo in a frame I cut from a Cricut cartrige. I added one of the Prima packagings from the kit behind the photo and then embellished with flowers. 


I left the chipboard pieces basically raw except for some brown edging. I also added cheese-cloth between the flowers.



 I really like how the journaling looks on this page. Its an idea I may just have to achieve again in the future as I always run out of space for journaling once my page is finished.



This part above is my favorite part of this layout. I just love the arrangement.
