Totally Rad Dude- Sketchbook 365 DT Challenge

Here is my first reveal for the sketch challenge at Sketchbook 365
I was really happy to join this DT, along some amazing scrapbooking designers.

Here is the June sketch which runs from May 17th to June 20th.

It is a very different layout from my usual as you might have already noticed. For starters I didn't use any flowers, not even cut out of paper. This is a truly flower-free layout and I'm quite impressed I was able to make it flowerless. I'm so obsessed with flowers that I really have to challenge myself not to use them.

This is a picture of my son, playing with some type of electronic device. Should I say that he's obsessed with them? that would be an understatement. This is how you can find him most of the time, his face buried in some electronic gadget. However I can't blame him, I'm glued to my phone and obsesses about it all the time. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, lol!!

Don't you love these Chipboard electronic gadgets from 2 Crafty. I thought they would be perfect for this picture. I also used some 2 Crafty Chevrons on the page and the loopy heart frame around the picture. All the 2 Crafty chipboard pieces were covered with Ingvild Bolme's Dark Bark fluid chalk ink by Prima.

For the background I stamped with some BoBunny stamps and inked a reverse chicken wire mask. I used both brown archival ink and brown fluid chalk ink respectively.

Materials
Papers and stickers: Basic Grey
Chipboard: 2 Crafty
Brown Archival ink
Prima Dark Bark fluid chalk ink by Ingvild Bolme
Glitz design alphas
Bobunny stamps
Crafters Workshop reverse chicken wire mask
