Found Strength- Mixed Media Shadowbox Canvas- Flying Unicorn October Mixed Passion Kit

This is a 6x12 Mixed Media Shadowbox canvas I created with the October Flying Unicorn Mixed Passion Kit.

I created this project on October 21 on the Flying Unicorn University Ustream Channel.

I'm reposting this to include the video recording of the show

Here is the video recording in case you missed the show:

The kit comes with various mixed media products, including this 6x12 canvas. I inverted the canvas and used the back of it to create a shadowbox for my paint brush. This is a used paintbrush. Its bristles got too hard for me to use and so I saved it to incorporate into my projects.

I really love the crackle gel that came in the kit. I applied the crackle quite thickly so it would create the large cracks on the background.

I used some metals and resins to embellish the sides of the canvas. I also used Brown Brusho and Prima Green Mica powder to paint the background.

Products
6x12 Canvas
7 Dots Studios Lost and Found papers
Deco Art Crackle paste
watercolors
Prima Art Ingredients Bottle Green Mica powder
13 Arts old gold acrylic paint
Resins: Petaloo
13 Arts bronze microbeads
Metals: Tim Holtz
Metal flowers: Flying Unicorn
Prima say it in crystals
old paint brush

Thank you so much for visiting my blog
Have a wonderful day!!

Oh Keren... What can I say about your art which I did'nt already say....??? But again you made an amazing piece of art. This paintbrush canvas / shadow box is stunning, exciting, fabulous. LOVE the great crackle you created. Love the embellishments, and adore the idea of using a worn out brush as the main deco item. And of course I'm crazy about your color choices. You are always creating such lovely art and I feel so inspired by your art. I actually do enjoy your art every day !!! Wohooooo.....
Thank you for sharing this awesome project. You are so talented...

Keren,
What an awesome piece - I love it and wish I was going to be here for the show, but I am going to be out of town. So, I'll catch the video.
