Swim- Scrap Around The World- October Challenge

Its that time again to reveal the new challenge at Scrap Around The World so

Welcome back to Scrap Around The World Challenge SIX,
hosted by Design Team member Jessy Christopher from Malaysia!

Last month we made some IMPORTANT RULE CHANGES
so if you haven't checked them out yet please look HERE.

I turned the sketch sideways to fit my design and used lots of yellow and blue matching flowers.

Feel free to interpret the mood board in any way you like,
using one image, several of them, all of them or even just
one aspect of an image, using ANY COLOURS!   Please
do let us know HOW YOU WERE INSPIRED!!

The Sketch is OPTIONAL

<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>

This is how the mood board inspired me:

I got inspired of course by the colors. The combination of yellow, blue, green and white fit perfectly with my swim theme. Another inspiration was the doily pattern on the vases. I used a prima stamp to create these patterns as a layer on the page. I also got inspired by the chevrons on the pillow. I used some chevron washi tape and a chevron roller stamp as texture on the page. I also got inspired by the polka-dots on the pitcher and created my own polka-dots on the page. Finally I had to have flowers so I used a different array of flowers to compliment the page.

The background paper is Heidi Swapp and the flowers are from Prima, Recollections and Manorhouse Creations.

The "swim" title is from the summertime word pack from 2 Crafty. I simply dabbed it with Turquoise Stone Chalk edger from Prima.

Materials:
Paper: Heidi Swapp
Flowers: Prima, Recollections, Manorhouse Creations
Chipboard title: 2 Crafty

Golden Light moulding paste
Golden white gesso
Yellow Chevron
Glitz design chevron roller stamp
Ranger black archival ink
