Life's Journey- C'est Magnifique Sketch for June's Kit

This is my layout for the June sketch challenge at C'est Magnifique!! It is also my last layout not only for the June Kit but also for my term at this amazing kit club.

I had an amazing time designing for C'est Magnfique and I want to thank Leslie for the opportunity she gave me for the past 6 months!!

Here is my layout:

I really wanted to make a masculine layout with the blue toned papers of the kit. This is a picture of my son last year just chilling on a ledge. I've wanted to scrap this picture for a while and I finally got the chance!!

I created a rough background by stamping some of my BoBunny stamps in brown. Then I added all the elements on the page.

This is how I made the Blue Fern Hot air balloon:

First I primed it with gesso. Then using some gel medium I masked one of the Prima stencils on it. It created a raised pattern on the balloon. Once it was dry, I inked it in Pastel Blue fluid chalk ink by Ingvild Bolme from Prima. Finally I use a little of the dark bark fluid chalk ink to rub on the raised areas.
