Hello my friends from around the world. I'm here to reveal this month challenge at Scrap for Help.
Please scroll down as Scrap for Help is having a Design Team Call
This month challenge was to use string.
I used some leftover string I had lying around for this layout.
I got inspired by a fantastic LO at Scrap Friends Blog. I do love their sketches as you can always add some mixed media!! and I love Mixed Media in combination with Shabby Chic flowers and lace.
Here is another picture of my daughter posing for the camera. I used purplish tones and some pinks for this layout. It also makes me feel as if she's is sitting in some magical garden. I do feel that lately I'm creating magical scenes for my layouts. I love to transport people into the page and let them explore this beautiful parallel world inside my page.
I worked really hard on this border. I litterally cut out flowers out of the Meadowlark paper, inked the edges and glued them around the page like a puzzle. Then I dabbed gesso and acrylic paint to blend it in.
I used two amazing 2 Crafty Chipboard Pieces. One is the "Timeless Beauty" title above. The second is this Floral Spray that I cut and used in two different places in my layout. I simply dabbed both pieces with gesso and purple paint.

He he had to giggle reading Lizzy H's comment, talk about being scrapoholic commenting from a cruise ship off Albania's coast :))) Mwah!
Wowzers! You've done an amazing job with not only making this a beautiful monochomic layout... but with purple of all colours! Most people are so afraid of purple! LOL!! But this is just so stunning! Thanks for sharing it with us at Scrap Friends.
