Dreams Layout- Ces't Magnifique October Kit

Just showing you my Dreams layout from the Ces't Magnifique kit.

Here it is in more detail:

I called this the "Blue" layout as I used all the blue toned colors to mimic the ocean. I love this picture of my kids standing on these huge granite rocks, staring at the sea. I truly loved Peggy's Cove, it had a magical feel and really good energy. I loved standing on those rocks breathing in the ocean's breeze and re-energizing myself. I would've loved to be there today to re-energize after the very chaotic day I had.

I fussy cut the blue flowers out of the papers and used them as embellishments.

I used gesso to give texture around the photo to mimic the waves. I sprayed some blue mist on it.



 Finally using a Cherry Lynn die-cut: Baker's doily, I cut out lots of doilies to layer the bottom and make it look like waves. I also stuck leftover flowers. To make the doilies last, I cut them in half and layered them.
