Happy Valentine's Day!!!
I like a holiday that celebrates love but truthfully I believe love should be celebrated each and every day not only on Feb 14th.
However what better day than to choose a winner for my giveaway for the e-book Creating with Sketches by Kristine Davidson.
I didn't get too many responses as my blog is not as popular. However I did receive beautiful comments from some amazing ladies who I know follow my blog regularly and always send love my way. It was hard to pick between you guys because you are all so special and your comments were so touching. I finally just wrote your names down on a piece of paper and asked my son to pick a winner.
The lucky person is Lizzy H.
Lizzy H. please email me withing the next 7 days at kerentamir@sympatico.ca so I can send your info to Kristine Davidson.
Now about my layout!!
I used the color Palette #97 from The Color Room. It was a manly palette so I used a picture of my son. I used Prima papers, Petaloo flowers and vines, Letters are Thickers and WP's and I can't remember where the chipboard swirls are from. I think they are AtoZ Scraplets.
One of the techniques I used was stamping the 2 large burgundy paper flowers with a Tim Holtz stamp and with StazOn brown ink to give the flowers some texture. I'm not sure what company made those flowers but it was so easy to stamp on them.
Thank you for visiting my blog

Love the deep rich colors and how the chipboard frames the photo. Gorgeous work my friend!
