"Life's journey begins with You" is my new Sketchabilities layout. This design is based on Sketch # 57. This is my new Design Team reveal for the new DT at Sketchabilities. I used this amazing picture of my son looking over into the horizon. He climbed over some hay stacks in a barn and was looking over when I took this picture.
I'm using this layout for the 123 Challenge blog. The 3 criteria for this month's challenge were:
1. using the colour GOLD
2. using LEATHER/SUEDE and LACE3. using the word YOU
I used gold crackle paint on a template to make the background line. Then I added an old leather gold headband that cut and crumpled. I used some golden lace ribbon to make these circled flowers. I used gubbers and twisted the lace around. Then I put a gold gemstone in the middle. Finally I used some prima gemstone swirls (one of them had black lace too). I accented the layout with gold gems and used black leather letters for the word YOU.

Absolutely gorgeous---love the color combination...just got a line of paper with lots of black and gold, so I can't wait to try! Wonderful first reveal.
