So its Pin Spin time on the Prima blog today.
I chose an image from Pinterest and created a layout inspired by that image.
Here is my project below called Brave Heart:
Below is the image I got inspired by. I loved the whimsical feel of this picture, it was magical and with universal power. I got inspired by the magic and by the colours of the image.
This layout is very personal as I poured my thoughts and feelings onto it when I was creating it. The journaling talks about being brave no matter what comes in our lives. Come what may, there is always a reason for what G-d has chosen for us and we can look at it with dread or we can choose to be happy with the journey we've been given. And so I feel in this life time I've been given a brave heart. I journaled on the side about my feelings and I also quoted the song "Brave" by Sarah Bareilles.
The textured background was created using Prima's chalkboard paint and one of the stone stencils. Then I used the "Free Spirit" Bloom stamp to create long locks of hair flowing out of the photo.
Finally I embellished with Prima flowers, leaves and wood icon feathers which were edged in copper Art Basics glitter.
I also used other Prima embellishments such as cork and wood icons.
