Welcome to another month with Flying Unicorn. This month's kit is sensational featuring papers from Ridderlsholm Designs from Denmark.
As soon as I saw the leaf looking metal piece in my kit I imagined a Buddah figure with that metal piece as his head gear and that's exactly what I did, I created a Mixed Media Canvas with a Buddah image on it using some products from the Mixed Art kit add-on
I printed an image of a Buddha face and used matte gel medium to adhere it to the background. I inked it with brown fluid chalk ink and coloured the the lips and eyes with gold Shimmerz.
Below you see the gold metal piece I used as a head decoration. Its the one that inspired me to create this project. I also cut small metal leaves to create the hair.
I used one of the Tailgate Riddersholm papers with a wood grain pattern as the background for the papers.
I used the resin circles from the kit as earrings.
I used some Prima flowers and other metal pieces to decorate around the Buddah's face and neck.
