I made this layout just for fun using this sketch from Scrap Friends. Its quite a unique sketch and I struggled to come up with an idea for it. Finally I thought to fold the edges of the Fairy Rhymes paper in to create the effect.
I used two chipboard pieces from 2 Crafty. The first one is the Love title. I simply primed it with gesso and then covered it in different colored Fluid Chalk inks.
The second piece of 2 Crafty Chipboard I used was the Frame Heart with Flowers. After priming it with gesso I covered it in Sandy Stone Shimmerz Texturez. Then I painted them sporadically with Magenta Shimmerz paint.
and as a bonus I've been given permission to give you a special offer when you order from the Shimmerz Store.
When you place an order with Shimmerz, they will give you a "Sample Sized" jars of Dazzlerz or Texturez for free with your purchase.
All you have to do is mention my name in the
INSTRUCTIONS TO MERCHANT area when you check out.
you can also request the color of Dazzlerz and / or Texturez that you would like to receive.
How's that for an offer!! I highly recommend for you to try their products!!
I'm also entering this layout for the challenge at Get Creative May Challenge:
"April showers bring May flowers"
So your challenge is to make a layout with lots and lots of flowers......
and of course this challenge was made for me, as I love, love, love to add flowers on my layouts.
