Here is my reveal for the May Challenge at Scrap for Help
The challenge this month is to use a napkin on your project.
You might wonder where my napkin is right?
Well I used a flower patterned napkin with a red lily on it.
I cut out 2 flowers out of the napkin and separated the layers of the napkin so I would only have the outer layer.
Then using gel medium I adhered it to the page like decoupage.
The red flowers from the napkin are the backdrop for the beautiful garden I created around the photo. I added lots of Prima flowers on top of it.
Underneath the flower arrangement I masked these beautiful Prima stems with some light molding paste. Then I colored them with some new amazing shimmery acrylic paint I found at my local art supply store. This is the best find of the season lol. I just love it and I got them in a few colors.
I always love adding some cheese cloth between the flowers to soften the effect.
This layout was designed Prima's April PPP. Although it has a lot of colors combined together and I usually create monochromatic layouts, I managed to use all the colors and create this beautiful garden.
