I made this layout and dedicated it to my mom. She is an exceptional woman, person, mother, grand-mother, friend....and the list can go on. She's been through so much in her life and I thought that she deserves to have a layout of her own.
I used these beautiful Glitz Designs papers along with a sketch from Get Creative to design this layout for 2 challenges. First challenge from the Glitz Designs Blog which challenged us to scrap about an exceptional woman. This wasn't really hard to do.

The second challenge was a sketch from Get Creative.
I love burlap feel of this layout along with the flower and chipboard elements.
Here is part of my journaling. I'm keeping the rest private but wanted to share some.
" My mom is an exceptional woman. She as been through so much in her life but she always rises up again even when she falls. She is positive and hopeful. She is a survivor. She is brave, courageous, kind, loving, caring , funny and can always put a smile on your face. She is my best friend, one of my closest soul mates. I hope to have her for a long time in this lifetime and for many lifetimes to come......"
