Our Beautiful GIrl- 2 Crafty November Reveal part 1

This is one of my layouts for my November reveal at 2 Crafty

I've really went simple with this layout, well simple for me as I usually heavily embellish my page.

I used old MME papers that I found in my stash and I masked them with a new hexagon stencil from Heidi Swapp that I recently bought at a store.

The 1" Hexagon chipboard were primed in gesso then sprayed with Pop Art Pink Shimmerz spray.

The title: Our Beautiful Girl and the flourishes (Flourish Adornment set 5) were sprayed in Concrete Shimmerz spray and then lightly brushed in gesso.

Finally I added some popped dimensional dots using the new Dimensionz product from Shimmerz. You can buy this product and many more at the Shimmerz store HERE.

Happiness is giving Thanks- Tag for Prima ArtZine

Although in Canada people celebrate Thanksgiving in October, in the US it is celebrated at the end of November. My faith does not celebrate Thanksgiving however I personally love any holiday that gives thanks because I believe its the most important thing in the world.

I created this Thank You tag for the Prima ArtZine last month and I just wanted to show you some close-ups here on my blog.

 I mounted this tag on cardboard packaging from one of the Prima flower collections. The message on the tag is simple. I truly believe that a person can be happy if they are thankful for all they have and so I created this special tag for that reason

I have this tag hanging on my wall to always remind me that happiness is giving thanks. I'm so very thankful to G-d, my family, my friends and this art which I love so much!!

Love this- Sassy Scrappers November GD

I'm so delighted to be GD this month at Sassy Scrappers. I was excited to work with this fabulous Color Wash collection from Pink Paislee.

I used lots of mixed media to create hexagon patterns on the page. I used Light Molding paste and a Heidi Swapp mask to create the hexagons to match the ones on the Color wash paper.

I used Shimmerz and Ranger sprays to created the dripped color in the background. I also used a Prima doily mask with some Lemon Drop Dazzlerz to add a sun like pattern in the background.

Finally I decorated with Prima flowers and embellies and also tucked some cheese cloth fibers in between them.

Truly Happy- Scraps of Elegance November Kit Reveal Part 3

Here is my last reveal for the November Kit at Scraps of Elegance. I'm featuring the beautiful Family Tradition papers from Websters Pages.

This is a picture of my daughter, taken in our nearby forest at the start of last year's fall. She loves going in there and exploring her surroundings.

I used many pink and white Prima flowers from the kit to decorate the layout along with a beautiful resin heart.

I cut some of the puffy checkered hearts from the trim and added them in between the flowers to create texture and variety!!
