Sweet Pup- Saying Goodbye to Prima

This past month marks the end of my two year Design Team Member at Prima Marketing.
I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to design for such an amazing company.
I met so many wonderful friends that I really want to keep in touch as I would miss them too much otherwise.
It was the most amazing experience and I thank G-d every day for giving me that opportunity.

I have one last project I created for Prima
and it was created for a fun number challenge!!

Number-challenge
Prima presented our team with a number challenge asking us to put 15 items on their page. That sounded too easy so we made it even more challenging! They limited us to only using 1 of a certain item, then 2 of another, 3 of a third, and so on. Come see how the challenge worked out!

It was so much fun creating this Sweet Pup project for this 12345 Challenge: I took the plunge and challenged myself to using limited product! The hardest part was only using 5 flowers. Everything else I think I managed okay! However, what I couldn't resist was to add a little resin puppy to the page since the picture is of my daughter with our new fluffy puppy

Products-used

  • 1 metal- Ingvild Bolme Junkyard Findings Zippers (891565)
  • 2 stamps- Garden Fable  and Square stitch cling stamps (579135, 570521)
  • 3 papers- Garden Fable blushing floral paper and 2 notecards from the paper pad. (847227, 589012)
  • 4 colors- The Garden Fable paper has 4 colours already: pink, blue, green and yellow
  • 5 flowers- 3 Avante flowers and 2 Audrey rose flowers (546700, 566661)

I used the Garden Fable collection for this layout of our new puppy. Here is my daughter lying down to caress him on the first day we got him. Isn't it sweet?
I used the clear stamp from the Garden Fable collection and the Square Stitched Prima stamp to create the background. Then I added layers around the photo.

Frolic- New Blue Fern Studios Collection

There's no better way to wrap up the month of June than with the reveal of Blue Fern Studios new paper collection, Frolic.

Frolic, as a verb, is to play and move about cheerfully, excitedly, or energetically, and that is just what we want you to think of when you see this collection. The colors and designs are certainly cheerful and energetic. How perfect for so many projects! Here are the individual papers from the collection so you can see what we mean.
Take your time as you scroll through this beautiful 10-page collection.

But we have more good news - we didn't stop with just the paper.
We have chipboard pieces designed to coordinate with the Frolic Collection!

Urban Inspiration- Flying Unicorn July Kit of the Month

Here is another one of my projects for the July kit at Flying Unicorn.
I call it Urban Inspiration as I took an architectural picture while I was last in the downtown area.

I used the Lemon Craft paper as a background. The woodgrain gave it an architectural feel.
Then I used the Prima stencil and the Ginger Coral Color Bloom spray in the kit to create texture in the background.

I used some more elements from the kit such as flowers, wood icons and tags to add layers to the background.

Papers: Lemoncraft House of Roses and Prima Debutante

Prima Color Bloom Ginger Coral
Prima chalk edger branch bark and black coal
