Things I love: You- Prima GD reveal part #3

My third and final reveal at Prima is a layout about my husband and a thank you card I made for a very special friend although I haven't sent it yet as I don't know her address lol

I made a layout about my husband who is often not the subject of my layouts. I wanted to use romantic colors to express my love for him and I thought the Romance Novel Collection would be perfect for this theme. This was the perfect month to make a romantic layout as February is the month of Love in North America.

I used the chipboard layered technique again in this layout. Using some old chipboard squares I glued them on the background page and then added paste using a mask. Finally I misted it with Shimmerz all over the page by spraying and painting all around.

you will also notice on this layout how amazing it looks when you add some soft cheese cloth threads around the flowers and embellishments. I  also added gesso around the embellishment's edges to soften their look.

Finally, I designed a Thank You card this month using the Firefly collection.
I think saying thanks to people, though a card, an email or in person is one of the most important things a person should do. There are so many unappreciated people in the world and I know that if at least one person would approach them and thank them, their whole life could change.
So having said that:
I want to take this moment to thank G-d, my family and friends for everything you have given me throughout my life!! thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
