Blessed Life- GD at Do More with Less

I was happy when I was contacted by Yvonne a few weeks ago to ask me if I want to be a Guest Designer in her blog Do More with Less!!

I was asked to showcase a favorite technique and I chose to show altered chipboard frames. I'm a huge fan of chipboard and use it in almost all my layouts. I found these old chipboard squares from a company that doesn't exist anymore (Technique Tuesday) and I altered them.
See my tutorial below.

I'm also hosting a challenge over at her blog called
"Written Words"
The object of the challenge is to use a paper with written words on it. It can be a scrapbooking paper, a page from a book, dictionary, or poem. You may use it in any way you want.
So why don't you join us and participate. You can win this RAK from me:

Here are a few close-ups of my layout:

I used a Crafter's Workshop mask  and some gesso to give the layout some texture around the edges. Then I sprayed it with Shimmerz.

I used some Theresa Collins papers from my stash that I've been wanting to use for quite sometime.

Materials
Theresa Collins Papers
Flowers: Maya Road, K&Co, Recollections
Page from Quote book
Gesso, Burlap
Shimmerz sprays and paints: brown tones
Chipboard frames: Technique tuesday
chain: Tim Holtz
Metal Lamp: Prima
Prima Fluid chalk ink: dark bark
Crafter's workshop template
Prima Leaves

I'm so happy you came to visit me today!
have a fantastic day!!
