Directions- First Reveal for C'est Magnifique February Kit

For my Giveaway press here

Here is a First Look at our February Kit form C'est Magnifique

Directions
I'm in love with this picture of my son the railroad tracks. I've used the picture with both my kids before on my layouts but I love this one of my son alone. I used  half of the Blue Fern frame, you will see the other half on another layouts. I really love this frame because you can use it in so many different ways. You can use it whole or you can cut it and use it on multiple layouts. This layout is close to my heart, it feels so special to me.

I stamped all around the page with a Tim Holtz stamp and some brown archival ink

I distressed the chipboard with Vintage photo distress ink, Crackle gel and then dabbed it with acrylic paint.

Special Monthly Designer for 13 Arts

For my Giveaway press here
I'm so thrilled to announce that from now on I will be Special Guest Designer at 13 Arts.
First I was given the opportunity to be a guest designer and play with "Frosted Life". Now I will be joining Aida and design monthly projects for her blog

This is my first design using these beautiful papers.

I used this picture taken at the beach after my daughter sat and cuddled on my lap. This is a rare occasion as she has lots of energy and never sits down for a moment. I cherished the 10 minutes she lay on me. It was a very tender moment.

I used lots of beautiful flowers from both Manorhouse Creations and Recollections. The circular frame around the picture has 3 layers. The bottom layer is a doily, the middle layer is a frame from cricut and the top layer is a clock frame from 2 Crafty

To make the effect at the bottom, I wet the paper and then rolled it over. Then I put a zipper in the middle ans some flowers.

Materials
13 Arts Papers: Frosted Life
Flowers, Manorhouse Creations, Recollections, some are unknown
Prima Zipper and resin heart
Green Tara Lace
Pear pen: Ice white
Stencil Magic Accents
2 Crafty Chipboard clock frame
Title: K& Co
Pearl flourish: Dollar Store
Fluid chalk ink: old rose
Gesso
Doily

I also made a beautiful card with these papers.

I love the  large butterfly from Cherry Lynn designs. When used with the textured Frosted Life papers it looks really distressed!!

Materials
Papers: 13 Arts: Frosted Life
Flowers: Recollections, Green Tara, unknown
Gesso, Gauze, Doily
Martha Stewart Leaf punch
Cherry Lynn Butterfly Diecut
Stem: Creative bags

Winter Layout

For my Giveaway press here

I'm so glad its the weekend!!

I made this layout for 2 challenges in January. First is the mood board challenge at the Maja Designs blog. The second is a sketch challenge from Scrap Friends

I took this picture out of the window of my car as we were driving down to Florida this past December. I think we were stuck in traffic and as I was looking out my window I could see the snow and ice frozen on the bushes and the landscape looked like a winter wonderland.

I stenciled some circles from a Crafters Workshop template using some paste. Then dabbed it with blue Shimmerz Pearlz.  It makes it look like snow is falling on the layout.

I used a Maya Road envelope to add hidden journal under the photo.

The chipboard flourish is from 2 Crafty. I cut it in different  places and spread it around the layout.

Materials used:
Maja Designs Papers
Blue Fern packaging
Flowers: Manorhouse Creations,  Recollections
Butterfly: Recollections

Gesso, Gauze, Tag
2 Crafty Chipboard
Martha Stewart Textured Effect
Ice Blue Shimmerz Pearlz paint
