Precious Jewel

For my giveaway press here
My husband took this picture of my daughter in Central Park NY this summer. I love how he captured this expression. He later told me that she was probably turning around to tell him to stop taking pictures because it was annoying. My daughter has a very temperamental mood. She is my firecracker and can get so upset with you in an instant. Especially if you don't do as she says. However she also forgives and forgets so easily, sometimes she doesn't even remember how upset she was.

I used the Skissedilla sketch # 185 for this layout. However I flipped it horizontally and put my picture on the other side

Lots and lots of Prima goodies here starting with the Firefly collection papers. The large flower is from Manorhouse creations. This is one of my favourites of theirs.

The Chipboard is from 2 Crafty. I love these doilies!! The frame is cut out from my Cricut machine. The dictionary definition is from a free digital download from Prima.

Papers: Prima Firefly
Flowers: Manorhouse, Prima, Etsy shop
Resin window, gems and zipper from Prima.

Happy Days

For my giveaway press here

I'm excited to share with you another layout today. I had a very productive scrappy weekend. I was able to get a few layouts done for this upcoming week.
Here is one of those layouts using again the Wonderfall collection from Webster's Pages.

I used Skissedilla sketch # 186 for this layout.

I did a lot of fussy cutting for this layout. I love the flowers from the Wonderfall Collection.

I also used the large Prima mask along with textured paste and paint to create some stems.

When I finished placing all the flowers I felt as if the layout was missing some yellow accents so I took a Prima petal flower and ripped off the petals one by one and added them in random spots on the page.

Materials used:
Webster's Pages: Papers, cameo, doily, Alphas
Flowers: Petaloo, Recollections, Melissa Frances, Prima
Prima 12x12 Mask
Martha Stewart Textured Paste
Adirondack Acrylic dabber: Yellow and Green
Pearl pen Yellow
Cricut Frame Cartrige
Prima fluid chalk dark bark

Woderfall

If you want to win some awesome prizes click here
Although winter is just upon us and a few snowflakes have touched the ground, I'm still scrapping my fall picutres.
This picture was taken in a nearby farm while my daughter was climbing on the haystacks.
I used the WONDERFALL collection from Webster's Pages and I thought it was a great title for my layout instead of calling it just FALL.
I used a sketch from Keeping the Best. I've never participated in any of their blog challenges as I didn't have time. This month I was able to play in many challenges and blogs which was really fun!
I flipped the sketch to fit my fussy cutting:

Materials used
Papers: Webster's pages, WOnderfall, Game On, Yacht club
Flowers: Manorhouse Creations
Stems: Creative bags
Cameo and resin flower: Webster's pages
Alphas: Webster's Pages
Prima fluid chalk ink: Dark bark
Have a great weekend no matter where you are in the world, winter, summer, spring or fall!!

Princess Mini Album

If you want to win some awesome prizes click here

Recently, we celebrated my daughter's 6th Birthday.
She is a girly girl and she loves princesses. Her favourite is Cinderella and so I arranged for Cinderella to come over to our house for a birthday party. It was a great success and she loved every minute of it!!
I made a mini album about the party.
I used an acrylic Princess mini-album I bought at AC-Moores and decorated it with Webster's pages papers.

Here is my creation:

I used so many collections here I can't even count. I actually browsed through all my WP papers and pulled all the pinkish ones for this project.

I can't show you close-ups of all the pages because some pages have pictures of children that aren't mine and I don't want to post pictures of someone else's child.
Here are a few close-ups of the pages of my daughter and Cinderella together.

Here is Cinderella Dancing with my daughter!!

For one of the pages, I cut out the carriage from the "In Love" Collection. I love this carriage and since I don't have any picture of my wedding to scrap right now because it was eons ago, I use the carriage for a fairytale theme. I cut the Princess letters from the Magical Wishes collection.

Here is Cinderella applying make-up on my daugher. It was an amazing party. She truly outdid herself and my daugher had a blast.

Here is the cake I made her (with the help of my wonderful sister). I layered 2 cakes and then used fondant to cover them.

Well that's all for now!!
I hope you have a wonderful day!!!

My November 2 Crafty Reveal

My First Layout is titled Friends Forever...
and I used the Prima BAP sketch

I love this picture of my 2 kids holding hands while walking. I used some amazing 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces for this layout.

The first one is the 11" Flowery Swirl frame which I covered in gesso and then dabbed in yellow acrylic paint, blue and white fluid chalk ink. I added a pretty button in the middle of the large flower.

11" Flowery Swirl Frame (unit of 3)

For the title I used 2 of the words from the Friendship mini word Pack.I simply inked them in white chalk ink.

Friendship Mini Word Pack (unit of 3)

One of my favourite parts of this layout is the hexagons on the edges. First I covered them with Gesso. Then using a smaller hexagon mask, I dabbed Textured Paste on the chipboard and beyond the edges. Finally I dabbed the raised textured areas with a Yellow acrylic dabber and with blue fluid chalk ink.

1 inch Hexagons (units of 3)

Materials used
Papers: Prima Firefly
Flowers: Prima
White Frame: Cricut Cartridge
Chipboard: 2 Crafty
Gesso
Martha Stewart White Textured paste
Acrylic paint dabber Yellow
Fluid chalk ink: Dry Sand, White, Turquoise

My Second Layout is a Fall Layout,
and its titled My Sunshine.
I used the Prima PPP for inspiration.

I used one of the fabulous Clock Face Frames. I simply painted it in yellow acrylic paint.

Clock Face Frames (unit of 3)

For the title "My Sunshine", I covered the bottom half of the letters in yellow stickles and the top half in orange distress stickles.

Finally I used these beautiful Heidi's Vines. I have a short tutorial for you below, on how I made them.

Heidi's Vines (unit of 3)

Crayon Resist Tutorial

1. Paint the chipboard vine with white Gesso

2. Using a crayon, draw skeleton lines on the leaves and fruit.

3. Spray the chipboard with your desired color of spray ink.

4. Let it dry or use a heat tool. The crayon will resist the ink when dry.

Here is the result:
