Here is a sketch I made for 2 different challenges. I used the sketch from the monthly Dusty Attic challenge and combined it with the Challenge at Frosted Designs which was to use numbers on the layout. I used many different types of numbers on the clocks including Roman numerals. I also added the number 10 in a couple of places signifying my son's age at the time of the picture.
I used so many different techniques on this layout. My favourite is making those chipboard letters and the roman numbers on the clock which were done with modeling paste and then sprayed with ink. They look so grungy as well as the swirls which were sprayed and then lacquered with crackle medium.
Materials used:
Papers: Creative Imaginations, 7 Gypsies, BoBunny ETC
Chipboard: Dusty attic: chicken wire, flourishes (cut out from a frame), mini- clock. Buzz and Bloom: letters
Inks: Adirondack: butterscotch, red pepper. Tattered angels chalkboard deeadence, smooch spritz candle glow
Tim Holtz: Troquel die, ideology numbers and clock, ranger crackle medium
Martha Stewart punch, modeling paste
BG tag
Miscellaneous: burlap
Thank you so much for visiting my blog your comments warm my heart!!
