Sail Away- Blue Fern Studios Courtship Lane Collection

For my second project for Blue Fern Studios this month I also used the Courtship Lane collection. I used the Town Gossip paper  for the background and then added stencilling, spraying and stamping for texture.

I cut it in half so it would show under both ends of the photo. Both the light house chipboard piece from the "By the Sea" set, were embossed in Ginger embossing powder

Home Sweet Home Memories- Blue Fern Studios Courtship Lane Collection

Hello Everyone!!
This is my first project for Blue Fern Studios!
I usually create two layouts but this time I wanted to create something different with the Courtship Lane collection.

I really love the vintage house images on the Courtship Lane papers so I fussy cut them to fit into my three set shadow box frame.
I cut three different houses to fit each of the boxes as they measured 3,4 and 5 inches squared respectively. The houses were cut out of the West Plaza, East Plaza and Calling cards papers.

First, the middle box was framed with one of the graduated squares. Then the right box was framed with the Memory frame. Finally I placed the Iron Signage chipboard on the top corner of the left shadow box.
All three chipboard pieces were embossed in both Oatmeal and Sage embossing powders.
Then I added a "Home Sweet Home" phrase out of the Calling Cards paper to the signage.

I added some matching Courtship flowers and other Prima vines to embellish around the frames as well as the Evening Lamp Post  chipboard which was simply painted with acrylic paint.

Products:
Blue Fern Studios Courtship Lane collection
Blue Fern Studios chipboard
Blue Fern Studios Courtship flowers
Blue Fern Studios embossing powders
Ranger Perfect Medium
Prima vines
Prima shadow box set
Acrylic craft paint- tan

******5 Year Bloggaversary Giveaway*****

I really can't believe it's been 5 years since I started this online adventure.
I had been scrapbooking for 6 years when I decided in March 2011 to start my own blog.

I didn't even give it much thought, I just decided one day and started designing it on a whim.
Little did I know it would take me on the most amazing adventure of a lifetime.

I'm so grateful for all the opportunities I was given, every design team that believed in me and in my work. It just drove me forward.

Every rejection (and yes there were many) just pushed me further to challenge myself and believe that if you dream something you can accomplish it!!

I'm most thankful for all the amazing people that I met along the way. To all of you that believed in me, followed me and finally befriended me as life long friends.

I owe so much and although I can't always repay with material things, just know that you have my love.

Having said that, I always love to have a give-away around this time and this year is no exception.

I not having 1 give-away,  I'm having 5 giveaways, one for each year I've been blogging.
You could be the winner of one of these prizes:

Here they are below:

To win the prize you need to follow me in at least two of my social media places. If you follow me in all, even better!!

Here are the links:

This giveaway is open internationally.
