Grade 2- School Memories

The Prima blog is featuring the School Memories collection and I created a layout about my daughter's first day of school in Grade 2.

To create this layout I used lots of school elements from this collection and embellishments from other collections. I combined chipboard pieces with a ruler wooden icon, a junkyard finding light bulb and the the metal frame with the inspirational words from the Engraver and Life time collections.

I used the elemental doily and masked it on the page in two different places to add interest to the layout.

I love this picture of my daughter walking away from me like a big girl. This photo above shows her feet only and I just want to freeze that moment in my mind forever.

Oh lovely, Keren - I adore that chalkboard letter background, and the composition is, as always, brilliant. Wonderful little ink pot, and the word tickets and definitions are perfect. Great photo too...
