I was invited this month to be a GD at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge
This is my April 15th Reveal for the monthly sketch!!
I found this sketch difficult for me and I tried my best to keep it as close as possible to the sketch but also make it my style.
I used a couple of Prima's Engraver vines to make a circle around the photo. It gave it a really nice frame.
I used the Crazy Circles 12x12 sheet from 2 Crafty. I cut it in half and covered it with Tim Holtz Antique Linen Crackle Paint. Then I edged it in dark bark fluid chalk ink from Prima. Finally I stamped it with brown archival ink using my script stamp.
I also used the Life's Moments title from 2 Crafty which I simply inked in dark bark fluid chalk ink to match the LO.
Materials used:
Papers: Pion Design Grandma's Storybook
Chipboard: 2 Crafty
Flowers: Manorhouse creations, Prima
Nest and Bird cage: The Trinket Track
Gesso, Cheesecloth
Sand Acrylic paint dabber
Tim Holts Antique Linen crackle paint
Ranger brown Archival ink
Prima fluid chalk ink: dark bark
Shimmerz sprays: Treasured Hymn, Bronze Bombshell
Glitz Design script stamp
Well I hope you get a chance to join us in the challenge this month!!
