Beautiful Dreamer- Green Tara Guest Designer

Here is my second layout for my Guest Design Team for Green Tara for the month of June.

I used a lot of beautiful Green Tara flowers (listed below) and combined them with the Ambrosia collection from BoBunny.

I tried to match the flowers to the Ambrosia papers but I couldn't find orange flowers.

I took the mini white roses and sprayed them in orange ink to match.

Feel the Rush and The Sky is the Limit

Hi everyone,
I want to thank everyone who congratulated me on my blog, on facebook and through personal emails. I am so ever thankful for the wonderful friends and talented artists I've made around the world.
Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!!

Today I'm sharing 2 layouts one designed by me and the other designed by my son. After he saw me design my layout about an amusement park ride called "Windseeker" that we both rode together, he decided he also wanted to scrap it. It was such an honor for me to have him design and like something I do. I gave him the same picture and here is the result.

I followed a sketch form a new challenge blog I found called Skissedilla. Its a great blog with some extremely talented mixed media artists!!

We used 3 main colors: RED, YELLOW and BLACK  for the Scrap Africa Challenge using 3 colors of the flag of South Africa (below)

Here is my take on the sketch!!

Here is my son's design. He got so excited when I said I would put it on my blog

Pretty- and a new Winner

This past week was amazing!! Both my kids had a graduation ceremony. My son in Gr 5 is moving on to Middle School and they performed a beautiful "Moving up Ceremony". My daughter who is 5 just graduated from SK and is going to be a big girl next year in Gr 1. Both ceremonies where so beautiful and touching.

I don't do well with endings even if I know they are just beginnings to something wonderful and new. But I have to accept the fact that life moves on and my kiddies are Thank G-d growing up!!!!

In terms of my blog: Mid month for me is always slow in my blog in comparison with beginning and end of month. I decided to add a new post with a challenge so the timing between 2 posts isn't so big.

I've also started my own Facebook page so if you have time please press the LIKE button on my left sidebar and it will direct you straight to my page!!! I'd love for you to follow me there!!!!!!!

Now for the Challenge.

I made this layout for 2 challenges.

Wonder

Happy Sunday and Happy Father's Day!!

As you can see,  I experimented with mists, gesso and lots of mixed media goodies and here is the result of my experiments as my reveal for Bird is the Word.

So you "wonder" what is the word to use today? Its not "wonder" which is the title of my layout and a word we've already used in December. The word to use to day is COLORS. Instead of using the word in my title, I used it in the journaling as a quote: "Colors are nature's smiles"
I love this quote because I can actually visualize this phenomenon: nature smiling at us through the beautiful colors of the grass, the flowers, the ocean, etc.....

Here is a picture of my son leading his baby cousin on a field in the park.

I used the Sun Kiss collection from Prima along with some canvas resist pieces. The sketch is Prima's BAP for June designed by Heidi Kelly, who is in my opinion a fabulous Mixed Media artist and my inspiration for this layout!!

Here it is:
